Yuri Primarosa is a curator at the Gallerie Nazionali di Arte Antica in Rome. In addition to numerous articles published in specialist journals, his essays on multiple aspects of Roman painting in the 17th century include a catalogue raisonné of the works of Ottavio Leoni published in 2017, and a monograph on Girolamo Solari published in 2024. In recent years, he has curated exhibitions on the work of Mattia and Gregorio Preti (Rome, 2019; 2020), Plautilla Bricci (Rome, 2021), Orazio Gentileschi (Rome, 2023), Carlo Maratti (Rome, 2024) and Simone Cantarini (Urbino, 2025).
